∎Product Description
●PU (55) is a one-part, high viscous, moisture curing Polyurethane Adhesive/Sealant. Characterised by a high thixotropy it is ideal for all kinds of applications where a good initial grab (green strength) is required in order to keep in place the parts to be bonded, such as application in vertical.Once extruded it cures by reaction to the atmospheric moisture to form a high performance, permanently flexible elastic adhesive.

∎Typical Applications
●PU (55) is suitable for elastic joints that will be subjected to dynamic stresses within the following related industries: automotive/car industry for repair and refinishing purposes, general coach-building, caravans & motor-homes assembly and repairs. Bus and truck industries, container construction, including pipe-work and fittings, refrigeration, air-conditioning, thermal and acoustic insulation technology, general fabrication and assembly. Suitable substrate materials are timber, metals, particularly aluminium (including anodised components), sheet steel (including phosphate, chromate and zinc-plated components), metal primers and paint coatings (two-part systems), ceramic materials and plastiPU. For elastic bonding to untreated metals and plastiPU the use of Primers is recommended.

∎Directions for Use
● Cleaning: The substrate surface must be solid, dry and be clean.Such as no dust, grease, asphalt, tar, paint, wax, rust, water repellent, curing agent, isolating agent and film. Surface cleaning can be dealt with by removing, cutting, grinding, cleaning, blowing, and so on.
● Operation: Put the sealant into the operating tool,then injecting it into the gap.
● Reservation gap: The construction joint will expand as the temperature change,so the surface of the sealant should be lower than 2mm of the pavement after construction.
● About maintenance time: At the standard state, the maintenance time is about 5 hours. It depends on the actual construction conditions. The standard state is that the temperature is 23±2℃,and the humidity is 55 ± 5%RH.
● Operation Methods: Because the packing is different, the construction methods and tools are slightly different. The specific construction method.
∎Attention of operation
● Don’t mix alcohol into the product, it will cause the product invalid. The tools with the alcohol can’t be used before cleaning well.
● Avoid contact with eyes and skin. If contact with your skin, scrub first with soap water or alcohol, then rinse with water.
● It is forbidden to build on the surface of the wet substrate.
●Transportation: Avoid damp, high temperature, isolation and rain, far away from heat, handle with care and prohibit extrusion collision.
● Tools Cleaning: It can be soaked in toluene or xylene. It is strictly forbidden to immerse in alcohol and other alcohol solvents.
