High Performance Mutli-Purpose Liquid Nails Adhesive
Description
Maxtech Liquid Nails is a high strength multipurpose
construction adhesive that forms a strong and lasting bond on most building substrates.
Uses
Maxtech Liquid Nails is suitable for use on materials such as
timber, plasterboard, MDF, particleboard, masonry, concrete, tiles, ceramics, metals, plastics*, rubber and glass.
Technical Features
• High strength
• Stronger for longer
• Wet and dry timber
• Flexible
• Water & weather resistant
• Easily extrudable at low temperatures
• No drip, sag or stringing
How To Use
Do not swallow. Use in a well ventilated area. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Application
1. Ensure surfaces are free from oil, grease and dust. Wipe off any pooled water from wet timber.
2. Cut cartridge tip, fit nozzle and cut to desired opening
(5mm).
3. Apply bead along length of joist, stud or batten. On broad flat surfaces apply beads every 40cm.
4. Position pieces and press firmly together. Fix with
sufficient nails, screws or clamping to hold load and
achieve contact over total bond area. Repositionable for up to 20 minutes after fitting.
5. Allow adhesive to set (minimum 824hours**) before
removing any temporary fasteners or clamping. Use with mechanical fasteners in high stress applications.
