∎Product Description

Parquet Adhesive PU-68 is a one-part, moisture-curing, rigid/flexible polyurethane adhesive free from solvents,water,alcohol,and amine. Easily applied by trowel.Good filling properties, no-shrinkage and easy to apply using a dented spatula. Excellent resistance to water, temperatures and ageing.Characterised by a high shear resistance (DIN 281)and an exceptional resistance to the permeation of humidity, it guarantees the safe laying of wood floors on screeds with a high humidity level content.

Parquet Adhesive is the first one-part adhesive for parquet flooring which is recognized by the architectural magazine “NUOVO VERDE AUREO Architettura,Manuale Tecnico-Pratico della Casa Sana e dei Prodotti Ecologicamente Migliorativi “as a highly innovative solution both from the high product technical-performance as well as the ecological characteristics.

∎Directions for Use

● Cleaning: The substrate surface must be solid, dry and be clean.Such as no dust, grease, asphalt, tar, paint, wax, rust, water repellent, curing agent, isolating agent and film. Surface cleaning can be dealt with by removing, cutting, grinding, cleaning, blowing, and so on.

● Operation: Put the sealant into the operating tool,then injecting it into the gap.

● Reservation gap: The construction joint will expand as the temperature change,so the surface of the sealant should be lower than 2mm of the pavement after construction.

● About maintenance time: At the standard state, the maintenance time is about 5 hours. It depends on the actual construction conditions. The standard state is that the temperature is 23±2℃,and the humidity is 55 ± 5%RH.

● Operation Methods: Because the packing is different, the construction methods and tools are slightly different. The specific construction method.

∎Typical Applications

Designed for structural bonding of wood elements on porous and non porous supports,Parquet Adhesive PU-68 is specific for the bonding of any type of wood flooring (including beech-wood,maple and exotic woods),lamparquet,small slats, maxilstone,prefinished and laminate on all types of untreated or consolidated cement screeds and on existing flooring. Its high green strength keeps the elements to be bonded in place;therefore,it is ideal for large surfaces of wood (Parquet) flooring.Particularly suitable for heated floors and for the bonding of wooden floors on existing ceramic,marble,palladian, wood and natural stone floors.

Application

• Do not dilute product

• Use latex gloves or protective hand-cream for quick cleaning

• Remove immediately eventual product traces on the parquet before its hardening.

• Avoid the leakage of material from the sides of the staves due to the risk of whitening effects resulting from the contact of the adhesive with solvent based polyurethane paints if used in particular humidity condition on specific types of wood like the exotic ones. No risk with waterbased paints.
