Product description

COAT 721LB Matte low viscosity conformal coating is a liquid hygroscopic cured silicone, which forms a flexible rubber body after curing, fully complying with the requirements of the EU ROHS Directive. The release of alcohol substances during the curing process is non-corrosive to polycarbonate (PC), copper and other materials, and has good bonding and sealing performance for most materials, protecting electronic products under harsh conditions in a stable state.
COAT 721LB silicone coated adhesive cured elastomers have the following properties:
  * One component, easy to use, short time without sticking hands
  *Excellent chemical resistance
 * Resistance to moisture, dirt and other atmospheric components
  *Reduce mechanical stress and tension caused by mechanical, thermal shock and vibration
 * Excellent electrical insulation, corona resistance
 * Excellent outdoor aging, service life of up to 20-30 years
 * Stable mechanical and electrical properties between -60 and 260 °C
Application
  LED lamp seal, plastic metal shell seal; PCB board components, wiring harness fixed
  Waterproof coating for delicate electronic accessories, electrical and communication equipment
  Small module, photoelectric display and circuit board, under 6mm thin layer potting, plugging

As a manufacturer, we would like to share with you what we have learned about the different types of potting compounds and their characteristics.
The potting compounds on the market vary in viscosity, requirements for cure conditions, among other factors. Compounds such as polyurethane, silicone, and epoxy are widely used in a variety of applications.
Silicone Potting Compounds are soft and flexible, silicone potting compounds and encapsulating materials possess a good level of elongation.Silicone potting compound can also withstand a wide range of temperatures. Most silicone materials are able to operate at temperatures between -40°C and 200°C.
Epoxy potting compounds generally perform as a better adhesive, high-temperature resistance, and chemical resistance and have better adhesion to a wide variety of substrates and typically do not need primers.
Polyurethane Potting Compounds generally have better flexibility, elongation, and abrasion resistance.
Acrylic Potting Compounds are UV and heat-hardening materials, with fast hardening, adequate chemical resistance, and clear appearance.
